Language Department

The institute focuses primarily on teaching activities. It offers compulsory elective and elective courses focused on legal English, French, German and Spanish. It plays a significant role in providing language education in the Master's degree study programme in Law and Legal Science, the bachelor's programme in Law in Public Administration, and the follow-up master's programme in European Law and EU Policies. The department also provides specialized language training in the doctoral programme.

The department also closely cooperates with other specialized institutions, including other law faculties in the Czech Republic and abroad, as well as other important educational institutions focusing on the teaching of languages for special purposes.
