Since April, the STAG information system at Palacký University has been fully integrated with the Czech Population Register. Data and information regarding UP students – such as name, address, data box address, and date of birth – are now automatically updated in the STAG system based on the Population Register. In the event of discrepancies, the student’s information in STAG will be updated to match the Population Register.

UP students are currently being notified of any changes to their data in STAG based on the Population Register via individual emails. If, after receiving this email, they notice a discrepancy in their STAG data, they must report incorrect or outdated information directly to the Czech Population Register.

Instructions for filing such a complaint are available on the Citizen Portal: https://portal.gov.cz/sluzby-vs/reklamace-udaju-pri-zjisteni-nesouladu-v-registru-obyvatel-S1994. A complaint can be filed directly on the Citizen Portal or at any municipal office with extended powers, or at the relevant office of the Department of Asylum and Migration Policy of the Ministry of the Interior (for foreigners with a residence permit in the Czech Republic).
